We are currently experiencing discolored water due to an increase in manganese in the water supply from Brushy Lake. This increase occurs when the temperatures change & the lake turns over. City of Sallisaw is currently adjusting their treatment process to reduce the manganse. Once they have completed their adjustment, we will flush our lines to remove the remaining discolored water from our supply. Please visit our website for further information regarding manganese.
